She Sat With Silence II is a contemplative work that honours the quiet act of beginning again.

A curled feminine figure folds into herself, not with defeat, but with reverence. Gold pansies bloom across her thigh, delicate yet enduring, echoing themes of memory, resilience, and transformation.

Rice paper weaves through her garment like the soft creases of time. Each fold holds light and shadow, fragility and strength. The pansies, dusted in gold, symbolise remembrance and the courage it takes to sit with one's story, rather than run from it.

This work is the larger continuation of an earlier miniature painting - the beginning of a new chapter in the Blooming Veil series. It speaks to those drawn to introspection, gentle strength, and the layered textures of emotion.
