Shipping policy

Shipping policies may vary between existing artworks and commissioned works. Please refer to the relevant section below.

Free Australian shipping

Free standard shipping is included for original artworks and prints purchased directly from my website, unless otherwise specified in the individual artwork listing.

Free shipping applies to existing, completed artworks only.

Commissioned artworks are excluded from free shipping.
Shipping for commissions is quoted separately based on size, framing, destination, and insurance requirements. This will be confirmed in writing before final payment.

Where shipping is not included, this will be clearly stated before purchase.

All artworks are carefully packaged and shipped with tracking and signature on delivery.

International orders

International buyers are welcome. However, shipping must be arranged by enquiry prior to purchase.

  • Most artworks will be shipped unstretched in a tube unless the artwork is on a rigid support (such as birch board).
  • Shipping method, cost, and timeframe will be confirmed before payment.
  • Any customs duties, taxes, or import charges are the responsibility of the buyer.

Framing and third-party shipping

If framing is not included in the artwork listing, framing can be arranged by enquiry.

  • Where third-party framing is used, the framer may ship the artwork directly to you under their own shipping policy, or collection may be available if practical.
  • Some artworks are already framed and will ship directly from my studio.
  • If an unframed artwork is framed externally, this may increase delivery time and cost. This will always be discussed and agreed before proceeding.

Shipping timelines

  • Standard Australian shipping is typically up to 8 business days after dispatch.
  • Express shipping may be available by enquiry for an additional fee.
  • Orders are usually dispatched within two business days of purchase, unless you are contacted otherwise (for example, if framing or custom handling is required).

The shipping method (box or tube) is specified in each artwork listing.

Shipping, insurance and risk

All artworks are carefully packaged to professional standards before dispatch.

Standard carrier insurance is included in Australian shipments. Please note this is carrier-based transit insurance and is subject to the carrier’s terms, conditions, and compensation limits. It is not specialist fine art insurance.

Risk transfers to the buyer once the artwork is delivered and signed for at the nominated delivery address.

If your artwork arrives damaged, or appears lost in transit, you must notify hello@kellybatsiokisart.com within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs of:

  • The external packaging
  • The internal packaging
  • The damaged artwork

Where applicable, I will lodge a claim with the shipping carrier on your behalf. Any compensation paid by the carrier will be passed on to you.

Please note that carrier compensation may not equal the full retail value of the artwork.

If you require specialist fine art insurance or a higher declared value for transit, this can be arranged by written agreement before dispatch, with any additional cost payable by the buyer.

Collection options

  • Local buyers may collect artworks by appointment from my private studio in Corinda, QLD.
  • Adelaide-based buyers may be able to collect framed artworks directly from the framer if advised at the time of purchase.
