Shipping policy

Shipping costs vary depending on the artwork you purchase. Please refer to the relevant section below.

Australian shipping

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on the size and shipping method required for your artwork. Flat-rate shipping is used for most Australian orders to keep shipping costs simple and transparent. Some oversized or unusually shaped artworks may require a custom freight quote, which will always be confirmed before dispatch. Shipping charges are shown during checkout before payment is completed.

Each artwork listing specifies whether the work is shipped:

  • framed or stretched
  • rolled in a tube
  • eligible for local collection, where offered

All artworks are carefully packaged and shipped with tracking and signature on delivery.

Adelaide local delivery

Free local delivery is available for eligible artwork orders over $1,000 within 40 km of my Adelaide studio, provided the artwork can be safely transported in my vehicle.

Delivery is arranged after full payment has cleared, and someone must be available to receive the artwork. Delivery availability is confirmed at checkout.

Local collection

Collection is not currently available from my private Adelaide studio.

Selected orders may be available for collection from Creative Soul Studios in Henley Beach or from a print or framing partner, where this option is offered at checkout or confirmed before purchase.

Commissions

Shipping for commissions is quoted separately based on size, framing, destination, and insurance requirements. This will be confirmed in writing before final payment.

All artworks are carefully packaged and shipped with tracking and signature on delivery.

International orders

International buyers are welcome. However, shipping must be arranged by enquiry prior to purchase.

  • Most artworks will be shipped unstretched in a tube unless the artwork is on a rigid support (such as birch board).
  • Shipping method, cost, and timeframe will be confirmed before payment.
  • Any customs duties, taxes, or import charges are the responsibility of the buyer.

Framing and third-party shipping

Some artworks are supplied framed, while others are available unframed or rolled. Where external framing is arranged, the framer may ship the artwork directly to you or collection may be available where practical.

  • Where third-party framing is used, the framer may ship the artwork directly to you under their own shipping policy, or collection may be available if practical.
  • Some artworks are already framed and will ship directly from my studio.
  • If an unframed artwork is framed externally, this may increase delivery time and cost. This will always be discussed and agreed before proceeding.

Shipping timelines

Christmas ordering dates 2026

Available bird originals and hand-embellished prints: please order by 7 December 2026 to allow time for preparation, packing and Christmas postage within Australia.

Larger original artworks: please enquire before purchasing so I can confirm packing, transport and likely arrival dates.

Made-to-order fine art prints: Christmas ordering dates vary by printer and collection or delivery option. Please refer to the Christmas collection page for current details.

For orders placed after 7 December, or deliveries to regional and remote destinations, please contact me before purchasing if Christmas arrival is important. Delivery dates cannot be guaranteed.

Standard shipping timelines

  • Standard Australian shipping is typically up to 8 business days after dispatch.
  • Express shipping may be available by enquiry for an additional fee.
  • Available originals and hand-embellished prints are usually dispatched within two business days of purchase, unless additional preparation or custom handling is required. Made-to-order print production and delivery estimates are provided in the individual listings.

The shipping method (box or tube) is specified in each artwork listing.

Shipping, insurance and risk

All artworks are carefully packaged to professional standards before dispatch.

Standard carrier insurance is included in Australian shipments. Please note this is carrier-based transit insurance and is subject to the carrier’s terms, conditions, and compensation limits. It is not specialist fine art insurance.

Risk transfers to the buyer once the artwork is delivered and signed for at the nominated delivery address.

If your artwork arrives damaged, or appears lost in transit, you must notify hello@kellybatsiokisart.com within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs of:

  • The external packaging
  • The internal packaging
  • The damaged artwork

Where applicable, I will lodge a claim with the shipping carrier on your behalf. Any compensation paid by the carrier will be passed on to you.

Please note that carrier compensation may not equal the full retail value of the artwork.

If you require specialist fine art insurance or a higher declared value for transit, this can be arranged by written agreement before dispatch, with any additional cost payable by the buyer.

Collection options

  • Collection from my private Adelaide studio is not currently available.
  • Selected artworks may be collected from Creative Soul Studios in Henley Beach by prior arrangement, where eligible.
  • Collection through a production or framing partner may also be available, as specified in the artwork listing.

All collection arrangements must be confirmed in advance.
