Bashful Buffalo

The most awesome of all cape buffalo facts is that they are so dangerous they are referred to as "the Black Death"! Highly prized by big game hunters, these incredible creatures are members of "Africa's Big Five" - the five most difficult African animals to hunt on foot.

Thus, this Cape Buffalo is one of my Big Safari Five series and looks great in a cluster with my other similar piece, "Dreaming" (see other listings), which is the only other artwork from this series that is not sold.

Complementary colours make the pink and purple buffalo pop against the dark green background. Also has a farmyard feel so would appeal to those that love cows!
