Meet Bazza, the final character in my Flummoxed Flock collection. Drawn with permission from photographer Roger MacKertich, this inquisitive Blue-winged Kookaburra captures the bold, mischievous charm of one of the world’s largest kingfishers.

Found across northern Australia, the Blue-winged Kookaburra shares that infectious laugh, paired with a splashy blue-grey palette. This embellished edition brings that cheeky, tropical spirit home with hand-applied gold-like foil that catches the light.

About this Edition

Each piece begins as a fine art giclée on archival canvas, printed locally by Up In Frames in Adelaide. Kelly then hand-finishes every print in her Brisbane studio with gold-like foil and paint, so no two are ever quite the same. Subtle variations in foil placement and texture are part of the hand-crafted process.
